Delete your data
You can delete your KiroClip Lite account and the data we hold about you at any time. This page explains both ways to do it and exactly what happens after.
The quickest way
Sign in, open Account settings, and choose Delete account. Deletion starts immediately.
By email
If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on the account, with the subject line Delete my data. We will confirm your identity, action the request, and reply within 30 days.
We ask you to write from the address on the account because that is how we know the request is yours. A deletion request we cannot verify is one we cannot safely act on.
What gets deleted
- Your account, name and email address
- Every video you uploaded and every clip generated from it
- Job history and processing logs
- Saved subtitle styles and brand kits
- Your credit balance and its transaction history
- Tokens for any social account you connected, if you connected one
Deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits. See the Refund Policy.
What we have to keep
Two things outlive account deletion, and both are deliberate:
- Transaction records, for up to 7 years. Tax and accounting law requires this, and it applies to us whether or not your account still exists.
- A record that one mailbox claimed its free signup credit. It holds the canonicalised email address and nothing else. It exists only so the one per person free credit cannot be claimed twice, and it carries no name, no videos and no usage history.
Connected social accounts
If you have connected a TikTok or YouTube account, you can disconnect it on its own, without deleting your KiroClip Lite account. Open Account settings and disconnect it there. The tokens we hold are deleted immediately, with no grace period, and we can no longer post on your behalf.
You can also revoke our access from the platform itself, which works even if you never open KiroClip Lite again:
Clips we already published to your account belong to you and stay where they are. Deleting your KiroClip Lite data does not remove posts from a platform, because those are yours to manage there.
