Dropbox to clips

Someone sent you
a Dropbox link

Footage usually arrives as a share link from an editor, a client or a videographer. Paste that same link here and it comes back as vertical clips with captions. Your first video is free.

New customers pay $7.20 for their first month of Lite 10, then $12/mo. One per customer, limited time.

Does a Dropbox share link work as it is?

Yes. Both dropbox.com share links and dl.dropboxusercontent.com direct links are supported sources, so the link somebody handed you is usually enough on its own. The link has to be viewable by anyone holding it, not restricted to named people.

Real clips generated from long videos. Captions and vertical reframing done automatically.

How it works

Three steps, zero editing

01
Paste the share link

Use the link as it was sent to you. If it was shared with specific people only, generate a link anyone can view, or upload the file.

02
It works through the footage

The AI reads the whole recording and keeps the segments that stand alone, then frames each one vertical and captions it.

03
Post without the round trip

Vertical files ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, with nothing downloaded to your machine along the way.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Which Dropbox links work?

Ordinary dropbox.com share links and dl.dropboxusercontent.com direct links both import. The requirement is that anyone holding the link can view it.

What if the file was shared only with my account?

Then the link cannot be fetched on its own. Either create a link anyone with it can view, or download the file once and upload it here.

Does it write anything back to Dropbox?

No. It only reads the file. Your folder is untouched and the clips come back as downloads.

Is raw camera footage a good source?

It depends on the audio. The AI chooses moments from what is said, so an interview or a talk works well, while footage with no speech gives it very little to rank.

Does a big file cost more?

No. One credit covers one video of up to ten clips regardless of file size or runtime. The only limits are your plan duration cap and its matching size cap.

What does the finished file look like?

Up to 1080p and unmarked on every paid plan. The free video renders 720p with a small watermark in the corner.
