Clips from your phone
It runs in your phone browser. Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android, the same page either way. Paste a link and the video never has to touch your phone at all, or upload a file if you already have it there. Your first video is free.
No card required for your first video.
What it does
Clipping a video on a phone normally means three problems stacked on top of each other. The recording has to get onto the handset, which eats storage and data. An editor has to be installed, learned, and paid for. And the phone itself has to be fast enough to render vertical video, which is where older handsets give up. None of those apply here, because none of the work happens on the phone. You paste a link, our side fetches the file and does the cutting, and the phone only ever displays a web page and downloads the finished clips. That is why a budget handset behaves the same as a new one, and why the tab can be closed while it runs.
No, and that is the part most people expect to be the problem. Paste a link from YouTube, Vimeo, Zoom, Google Drive, Dropbox, Facebook or X and the file is fetched on our side. Nothing downloads to your phone, nothing uploads from it, and your data plan never sees the video.
In detail
Nothing is rendered on the handset, so the phone only has to display a web page. A five year old budget phone behaves the same as this year’s flagship.
| Device | How you open it | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone and iPad | Safari, or any browser | Nothing on the App Store to find, nothing using up storage. Add it to your home screen if you want an icon. |
| Android phone and tablet | Chrome, or any browser | Nothing in the Play Store. Finished clips land in your Downloads folder like any other saved file. |
| Older or budget phones | The same browser | Rendering happens on our servers, so handset age and memory change neither the result nor the speed. |
| Laptop or desktop | Same page, same account | A video started on your phone is waiting when you sign in on a computer, and the other way round. |
You can close the tab while it works. Sign back in later, on any device, and the finished clips are waiting.
Figures here are the ongoing price. A new customer's first month of Lite 10 is $7.20, then $12/mo. One per customer, limited time.
Real clips generated from long videos. Captions and vertical reframing done automatically.
How it works
No app store, no install, no account transfer. It is a web page, so the same login works on your phone and your laptop.
A link is the easy route on mobile because nothing moves through your phone. Uploading a file from the phone works too when the recording is already there.
The clips download as ordinary vertical files with captions already on them, ready for the TikTok, Reels or Shorts uploader.
FAQ
No. It runs in your phone browser, so there is nothing to install and nothing to update. Add it to your home screen if you want it to feel like an app.
Only if you want it to be. Pasting a link from YouTube, Vimeo, Zoom, Google Drive, Dropbox, Facebook or X means the file is fetched on our side, so nothing travels through your phone or your data plan.
Yes. It opens in Safari like any website, and on iPad too. There is nothing on the App Store to find and nothing taking up storage on the phone.
Yes. It opens in Chrome and there is nothing in the Play Store to download. Finished clips go into your Downloads folder, the same as any other file you save.
Then upload it directly. Be aware that a large file over mobile data is slow and worth doing on wifi, which is a limit of the connection rather than of the tool.
Yes. It is the same account and the same page, so a video you started from your phone is waiting when you open it anywhere else.
Yes. Each one is a finished vertical video with captions already burned into the picture, so nothing needs adding before it goes to TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
The first video is free and needs no card. It comes back at 720p with a small watermark, which is enough to judge the clips. Paid plans go up to 1080p with no watermark.
Open it on your phone and paste one link. The first video is free, no card needed.
