Choppity alternative

Five hours a month
is two podcasts

Every Choppity plan, including the $48 team tier, tops out at five hours of analysis a month. KiroClip Lite gives 10 source hours for $12 and 150 for $60, so a long back catalogue is not a budgeting problem. Your first video is free, no card.

New customers pay $7.20 for their first month of Lite 10, then $12/mo. One per customer, limited time.

What does five hours a month actually buy?

Two ninety minute episodes and one short one, and then the month is finished. That ceiling is the same on the $32 plan and the $48 plan, which is unusual: paying more buys seats and storage rather than more material through the door.

How it works

Three steps, zero editing

01
Add up your month first

Hours of source material, not clips wanted. That is the number the ceiling applies to.

02
Run one long recording

The gap only appears once a single file is over an hour.

03
Compare what the next tier buys

On one, more money buys seats. On the other, more videos.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How much does Choppity cost?

Their pricing page lists Free at one hour of analysis, Starter at $20 a month, Creator at $32 and Team at $48, with yearly rates of $14, $22.40 and $33.60. Creator and Team both give five hours a month.

Why is the five hour ceiling the issue?

Because it does not move. Upgrading from Creator to Team adds seats, storage and social accounts, and leaves the amount of material you can put through unchanged.

What does KiroClip Lite give instead?

Ten, thirty or fifty credits a month, and one credit covers one, two or three hours of source by plan - so 10, 60 or 150 source hours, ten clips included with every credit.

Do I get brand controls?

Saved styles and brand kits from the entry tier, three of each, rising to ten on the highest.

Is there a free way to compare them?

One video, no card, at 720p with a small corner mark.
