The parts
worth keeping

A long recording usually holds a handful of moments that stand on their own. This finds them and cuts each one out as its own short video, framed tall and captioned. Your first video is free.

What does a highlight clip look like here?

A separate video file, up to two minutes long, framed at 9:16, 16:9, 1:1 or 4:5 with captions burned in. Not a shortened version of the whole recording: each clip is a standalone piece that makes sense to someone who never saw the source.

Real clips generated from long videos. Captions and vertical reframing done automatically.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How does it decide what counts as a highlight?

It reads what was said across the whole recording and keeps the segments that hold together without the rest around them. On a paid plan you can also mark the moments yourself.

Can one recording produce a whole reel of highlights?

A single source returns up to 100 separate highlights on a paid plan, five on the free video, so one long session usually covers a posting week.

Is a highlight the same as a trimmed version of my video?

No. A trimmed video is your recording made shorter. A highlight is a self-contained piece, up to two minutes, that someone can watch without ever seeing the source.

Does a two hour recording cost more than a ten minute one?

No. What you spend follows the number of highlights you ask for, not the minutes you feed in.

Do I have to upload the file, or can I point at it?

Either. Paste a link from YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo, Google Drive, Zoom, Dropbox, Facebook or X, or send the file straight from your machine.

Are the captions already on the highlight?

Yes, written into the picture rather than attached as a separate track, so they hold up through re-uploads and on a muted feed.
