Gameplay to shorts
A recorded play session runs hours and almost none of it is postable. Upload the recording and get vertical clips back, captioned and ready. Your first video is free.
No card required for your first video.
A stream VOD has chat reactions and a host talking over it, so the loud parts are easy to spot by ear. A solo recording often has neither. There is engine audio, footsteps, and long stretches where nothing is said at all, which is exactly why scrubbing the timeline by hand takes longer than the session itself did.
In detail
| Trait | Why it matters | What you do about it |
|---|---|---|
| Runs for hours | Most of it is travel and menus | Upload the whole thing anyway |
| HUD sits at the edges | Vertical crop can clip it | Check the preview before producing |
| Long silent stretches | No speech to caption there | Those stretches are skipped |
| Sudden loud moments | Usually the postable part | They survive the cut |
| Recorded at 60fps | Larger file than talking head video | Upload limits go by minutes, not size |
Figures here are the ongoing price. A new customer's first month of Lite 10 is $7.20, then $12/mo. One per customer, limited time.
Real clips generated from long videos. Captions and vertical reframing done automatically.
How it works
The full recording, menus and all. No need to trim it first.
Each one sized 9:16 with captions burned in.
Ordinary files, so one clip serves every upright feed you post to.
FAQ
Up to ten hours on any paid plan, and half an hour without paying. The length sets the credits: one per hour on Lite 10, per two hours on Lite 30, per three on Lite 50.
Clips still come out, but there is nothing to caption in the silent parts. Sessions with a mic give you more to work with.
A vertical crop is narrower than the recording, so edge elements can fall outside. The preview shows the framing before you produce anything.
If you can export the recording as a video file, it uploads like any other.
Paid plans produce 1080p and carry no mark. The one you get for nothing comes out at 720p with a small mark in the corner.
Feed it one session and look at what it hands back. That first one is free.
