Twitch VOD

Six hours live,
eight minutes worth keeping

You were playing, not taking notes. Nobody scrubs a whole broadcast the next day to find the two things that landed, which is why most streams are never posted from at all. Point it at the recording and the moments come back as vertical clips with captions. Your first video is free.

The problem is the length, not the content

Nothing is wrong with a long broadcast. The problem is that reviewing one costs as much time as it took to make, so it never happens, and the recording quietly ages out while the good parts are still in it. Cutting a stream is a search problem before it is an editing problem, and search is the part that scales badly when you do it by hand.

Which is why the useful question is not how to edit a stream, but how to find the minutes inside the hours.

How it works

Three steps, zero editing

01
Point it at the broadcast

Upload the recording or paste a link. Long sessions are the ideal source, since there is more to choose between.

02
The moments come back

The strongest segments are kept, framed vertical around the action, and captioned so they read with the sound off.

03
Keep a buffer for dark nights

Hold some back for the evenings you do not go live, so the feed keeps moving on the days the channel does not.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Can it handle a whole broadcast?

Up to ten hours in one pass, on any plan. A marathon beyond that gets halved and run as two, which also lets you treat early hours and late hours separately.

Do I need to mark the moments myself?

No. Finding them is the point. You can still adjust what you keep afterwards, but nothing has to be marked up front.

Will my facecam be in the clips?

If you want the camera and the gameplay both kept and stacked, choose the Gaming layout, which is on paid plans. Otherwise the frame follows whoever is speaking.

What about clips I already made on Twitch?

Those work too. Short clips give it less to choose between, so a full recording usually returns more.

Should I bother with a quiet night?

Usually not. A session where nothing unusual happened has little to surface, and forcing posts out of one teaches your feed the wrong thing about what you make.
